Adjust the lighting settings so that they will change when someone rings the doorbell. In this way, you’ll know that someone’s at the door, even if you don’t hear the doorbell ring.

Sometimes, you may worry about someone with bad intentions trying to enter your empty house. With SmartThings and your doorbell, you can leave your house without any worries. If someone is snooping around, the lights and TV will turn on and off as if there are people inside your home, scaring away any possible intruders.
